  Best (and biggest) almond bear claw ever!! Grabbed one and a cup of coffee for my first morning stroll to enjoy along the ocean. Absolutely scrumptious!

  Really tasty plus-sized pastries. Excellent bread. There's often a line of locals here in the morning waiting for their morning treats. Not really an eat-in kind of place, but I usually grab something and walk to a nearby park to enjoy it.

  Open until they sell out! Everything looked delicious but I just had a bear claw, that was larger than my hand, and a coffee. It was amazing. Highly recommended.

  Pavel's was a real find located off Lighthouse on Forrest. It opens at 7:00 am but be early as they sell out fast. We ordered two sandwiches (Cubano & BLAT) which we took to Point Lobos for our picnic lunch.
  When we returned to Pacific Grove at 1:45 pm we thought we would stop and pick up a couple loafs of bread (Farmer's loaf & Cheese Sourdough) they were sold out. We will be there first thing in the morning. The pastries were huge and looked delicious, will pick up some of these as well. No credit cards, cash only.
