  One of the best kept secrets on the Monterey Bay area. This low key restaurant is not what it seems to be from the outside. The same chefs and menu can be found at a sister restaurant at a much higher price. We have been coming here for decades and have never been disappointed in the presentation and quality of the food. No matter what, order the clam chowder. It sets the standard for all others. The staff includes folks that have been in the restaurant business their entire career. You are taken care of by professionals that provide a service normally only found in five star restaurants.

  Come here every chance I get, which alas is only a few times a year. The best fried calamari ever. Fresh seafood. Accommodating service: we come in the mid to late afternoons because we hike the seaside trail. They happily seat and serve us every time. Very reasonable price. High ratio of quality vs. price. I have introduced many friends and family to this place.
